Flux is a print exhibition by queer artist Moya Gibney. It explores the fluidity of gender representation and how perceptions of gender have evolved across cultures and eras, shaped by societal norms and media.

The work showcases how queer individuals navigate and reinterpret the ever-changing standards of femininity and masculinity.

Viewers are invited to reflect on their own preconceptions and the evolving nature of gender in art and media, encouraging engagement with the complex relationship between identity and representation.

Moya Gibney is An Táin Arts Centre’s Emerging Visual Artist in Residence 2024.
