Last Sunday we were delighted to welcome a group of children into Bó Studio’s for the first of our Children’s Pottery Workshops from Bó Studios founding member and ceramicist Etaoin O’Reilly.
This week the children got to make some Harry Hedgehog Pencil Holders. They had a mock-up of the piece, created by Etaoin and were given step by step instructions. The children really got very creative in their approach and some even made cats and other animals as well as hedgehogs.
Etaoin O’Reilly said “It was such a fun day. When it comes to ceramics children are so creative, they really get into it and really enjoy the material. It was great to see them working away at it and having fun and getting them involved with clay at such a young age. It’s always fun to see what they create!”.
There are still a small few places left on Etaoin’s second Children Pottery workshop this Sunday 21st July at 12:00pm in Bó Studios, in our second space at No6. Jocelyn Street.
